Hey Tribe,
Welcome back!
You may have heard it multiple times, and it is true.
Even though people don’t believe it when you say that.
Because everyone always fully knows what they’re doing, right?
Wrong.
What is the saying I am talking about?
Most people don’t know what they truly want.
But why would you want to know that? Ignorance is bliss, right? If your life is kinda fine right now, why bother?
Well, I was in your shoes.
I worked in IT, decent pay, I had a wife, I bought a house, had friends, was hitting the gym. Sounds nice, doesn’t it?
Bamboozled again.
All these things might seem like you have a good life. Because it is what society portrays as a good life. The american dream? The middle class premium lifestyle? It’s all good.
Except for the following:
I actually hated that job
Didn’t have the sex I liked
The house put huge financial pressure on me
Can’t talk about the things I truly care about with my friends
etc.
There was a huge dissonance between what society told me was a good life, and what my soul thought is a good life.
Release the kraken
Now don’t get me wrong. I still work the same job (although I am in the process of changing that), and I still have the same friends and wife.
But the first process is noticing two very core things:
Embrace the fact that life isn’t what you want
Don’t blame wife/friends, it was your fault
If you have a life set up like me, you can’t just switch it all up. A divorce is stupidly expensive at probably ruins 15 years of your life, can’t just sell the house that easily, etc.
But you should be aware that you aren’t where you want to be. You boxed yourself into that corner. Good. Time to learn and grow!
Release your inner self. Take measures to set your life up properly. It will take time. Depending on how deep you are in the social prison, it might take longer to escape.
Who cares? At least you have a goal now!
Release the kraken! Let your inner self out of that cage. I told you how to find your soul in a previous email.
Now it is time to start that.
As I said, start ANYTHING. It doesn’t matter. I started writing books, and a blog, and youtube videos.
Whatever comes to your mind.
Do it.
Do it.
Do it.
Don’t blame your wife and friends. I don’t either. A) because they are still engrained in that societal mindset (and it’s really hard to get people out of there by external pressure (and some don’t even want to))
and b) if you blame others, you’re a victim.
Want to be a victim?
If you take 100% responsibility for the shortcomings of your life, you can actually change it!
Because it is all on you!
That’s great!
Don’t mourn to take the blame. Love it!
Stop mentally masturbating. These emails are a guide on how to set you up. They can’t do the heavy lifting. That is on you!
Switch to an action based mindset. Stop thinking about what to do, just do something.
And if you put in enough time and effort, you might escape this prison and become one with your soul.
With your deepest desires.
And only then, you will be free.
Cheers,
